the ATHERTON/TOLHURST Clan 2020

Christmas 2019

Let’s start off by going back to Christmas 2019. It was the first time we actually had the family together in the winter. The week was highlighted with nordic skiing, ice skating, a build “Forky” day and Christmas gift unwrapping, what a great time.

Scott Palmer and his dog, Rosa, continue to live in Prince George , where Scott works in the IT department for the city. He has sub divided his property and plans to have a house built next to his existing one, He and his girlfriend Laura, enjoy golfing together throughout the summer and get out snowboarding as much as possible when winter comes. They will spend Christmas together in Prince George.

Kajal and Tor moved in August to West Layfayette, Indiana, where they are both Associate Professors in the AgEc department of Purdue University. We plan a visit with them as soon as everything clears up.

Stefano, Caitlyn, Noah and Finn continue to live in Vancouver. Stef will complete his fellowship in July and will be looking for new home as an Interventional Radiologist. Caitlyn started a new career working with an International company that helps other companies improve their business and their bottom line. Our grandson, Noah started kindergarten this year and loves going to school. Due to the pandemic, we have not seen them much but hope to have them back at the Ranch soon.

I’m so HAPPY!

FINNSTER is a very happy young man! He adores his big brother and works very hard to keep up with Noah! We look forward to having him up here at the Ranch in the near future.

My partner, wingman, lover and wife, Tracy Elaine has been the foundation of my life these past two years. She is the hardest worker I know and has done a great job keeping me on track and grounded.

Working with me is not always easy and I truly thank God that TT has put up with me these past couple of years. Thank you TT, for caring, sharing and loving me.

In 2020, I had a check up on my lower lip, good news that it was cancer free but it sure was messy. Soon after that I had my right knee replacement operation. The replacement was a total success and I continue to work at getting stronger so that once I have the left one replaced (coming soon), we will be back to hitting our local ski hill, Mt. Timothy!

Thanks for catching up with the Atherton/Tolhurst clan. CHEERS!
