In the fall of 2008 while enjoying some holiday time with the Lovas family at their resort, “Sandy’s Resort” on Lake Francois in northern B.C., Tracy and I made the decision to start looking for waterfront property for our future retirement.

While driving back from Francois Lake we went exploring in the 100 Mile House region and discovered a property for sale on Ruth Lake.

We fell in love with the property, purchased it and named it Warm Springs Ranch. For the past five years we have worked at enjoying and improving it with the goal of building our home and retiring there when Tracy retires from BC Ferries!

With the help of Silver Tip (Caitlyn’s father) we have built a 800 meter road and a building site where we have a 30 foot fifth wheel to stay in while we are there.

Each year we try to spend at least 20 to 30 days, fishing, relaxing but mostly working on the property getting it ready for us and our children and one day their children!
